is sandy lane and sandy the same place. tiger woods got married on sandylane and rented the whole resort. there is a golf course. go figure.

Sandy Lane Resort is on Sandy Lane Beach, in a small bay. We were dropped off at a beach right around the southern curve of the bay. We walked around a small point and on to Sandy Lane Beach. You could see a small part of the resort from the beach, but all facilities were for resort guests only. Pretty beach, but I thought where we were dropped off was actually a prettier beach and drinks/food were available.

'Sandy Beach'(a hotel) is on the South Coast

(and has recently been re-named,I think)

whereas Sandy Lane is on the West Coast

I would like to go to Sandy Lane Beach. I remember my last trip to Barbados, on the Fury Catamaran we snorkeled off of Sandy Lane Beach. Sandy lane is on the west side between Paynes Bay and Alleynes Bay. What is the difference between the 3 beaches. Which is the best location to be dropped off. Would like to be able to get a chair, drink something to eat. Thanks

sounds like Holetown to me(the chair,drink,eats..)

(or maybe Paynes Bay, but..)
