I don't think there's a roof top bar at the Hyatt any longer. The top is now for private functions. I went up the morning of our cruise to look at the port and was lucky to be invited in by the orgnaization that was having a pre meeting breakfast! I didn't hang around long but did get to see the ship in port that morning.

The John U Lloyd Beach State Park is on the land mass between the Intercoastal Waterway and the ocean. This is the area to the south of the Port Everglades inlet from the ocean. Exit I-95 to Sheridan Street and East to A1A and turn North for 1.5 miles. This is a day use park but you can walk close to where the ship pass through.
