Baggage transfer experiences?

Has anybody used one of the services (sold by Silversea or otherwise) that offers to transfer your bags from home to ship and vice versa, especially from the UK/Europe? Would you care to share your experiences? We're booked on a trip in the Med later this year, and a service like this would be very convenient -- IF it's reliable and affordable, of course. We have use it once on Seabourn--not cheap, but worked well. We are off again in two weeks--our bags will be picked up by DHL the 20th, our cruise starts the 27th. We will continue to use the program--it makes the trip to the port a lot easier! Don

I have used it several times on Seabourn as well, but only to ship luggage from home to the ship. Each time the bags were waiting in the suite. It is a great convenience though it does come at a price. Only you can decide if it's worth it to you.
