10XCruiser Posted September 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2004 Has anyone taken the river tubing excersion since the hurricanes? I was a bit concerned about the river being too fast now. Also, do you suggest a waterproof camera? (That was probably a stupid question!) I hope we still get to do this tour. We leave in 12 days!
jennat Posted September 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2004 I, too, am interested in a reply for this. We have done it in the past and it is great. Yes, you need a water proof camera ;) . Also, money to buy pics as it is hard to get the type they get of you by yourself. Jen
10XCruiser Posted September 21, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted September 21, 2004 Do you know about how much the pictures were? I really do not want to take more money with me than needed. Thank you.
tjcruiser Posted September 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2004 According to an email I received from Phil Lafayette, " The tubing excursion was not severely affected by the hurricane. The flow of the river is at it's norm." Has anyone out there experienced the river since the hurricane?
