River Tubing since the Hurricanes?

Has anyone taken the river tubing excersion since the hurricanes? I was a bit concerned about the river being too fast now. Also, do you suggest a waterproof camera? (That was probably a stupid question!)

I hope we still get to do this tour. We leave in 12 days!

I, too, am interested in a reply for this. We have done it in the past and it is great. Yes, you need a water proof camera ;) . Also, money to buy pics as it is hard to get the type they get of you by yourself.

According to an email I received from Phil Lafayette, " The tubing excursion was not severely affected by the hurricane. The flow of the river is at it's norm."

 

Has anyone out there experienced the river since the hurricane?

woohoo!! We just got back from Jamacia and did a tour with Phil Lafayatte. He was PHABULOUS!! We did the tubing, it was cold and fun. The guides were great. Thanks to phantastic phil Jamacia was the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend him.
