gehrandt Posted February 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I read somewhere that one night they put rose petals on your bed and/or a rose in the room - and that they had fresh flowers throughout the ship. I am highly allergic to Roses (as was my Dad) - if I'm in a room with them for too long I start into pheumonia - with a cough that would have everyone jumping overboard to get away from the sound. So my question is - are there a lot of roses in the public rooms? Has anyone ever noticed? My husband always claimed I was a cheap date as I didn't drink much and he couldn't buy me long stem roses (although I could break the bank on buying books). ama22 Posted February 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I can't remember any roses on our Sept 2007 cruise, but I'm sure if you tell them no roses, they will certainly not put them in your cabin. Mary Lou
Jim Avery Posted February 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2008 I agree with Mary Lou that just tell them what you want prior to the cruise. We did have the rose petal treatment on the bed the last 2 times. Very nice but certainly understand your pain (its pollen season here in FLA). Jim.
