Airport Question Vision Mexican Riviera

Does anyone know the absolute earliest we should book a return flight for a december cruise our of Los Angeles? We will probably fly in/out of Long Beach or possibly LAX.

Has anyone cruise this itineary in December? Should we expect rough waters and cold weather in the ports?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't recommend flying out before noon, really, especially if you are going through LAX.

I haven't cruised in Dec. myself, but I did hear that the ports were cooler (still nice, but not as warm as at other times of the year). The last sea day has been cool and rocky the 3 times I have been, and it can be cool on the morning of the first sea day. Things start to warm up on the Monday afternoon.

If given a choice Long Beach is easier to get in and out of and closer to the pier. I am sailing on the Vision NOV 30. I have sailed to Mexico many times around this time of year and it's always been sunny and warm and calm seas but that's not to say this year will be the same.
