elou Posted February 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Hi, just wondering if anyone found out about the people and cultures of Roatan. Like to find something to do not water related.
ladycaveat Posted February 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Hi, just wondering if anyone found out about the people and cultures of Roatan. Like to find something to do not water related. You might want to check out tours by Victor Bodden (there are several threads about his tours on the Roatan board). I booked a land excursion with him to see the island since this will be my first time there. I am a water person but I figured, after Belize, Grand Cayman and Cozumel . . . I needed a tour on land . . . . :p
USFcrew Posted February 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2008 We used shoretrips.com who uses South Shore Canopy tours zip-line in West Bay Roatan. This place doesn't have anything to do with water just the jungle thru the air on cables. Great place and tour.
CruisinMenika Posted February 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2008 I don't do water stuff either. I booked with Victor Bodden and we are going to do sightseeing, go to the cameo factory, the iguana farm and to Victor's house to see the monkeys. We have a group of 8 and it is $25 a person for the tour.
NCTribeFan Posted March 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2008 I hate monkeys. But I would love to go to the Iguana farm. I can't find anything that says where it is located. Trying to coordinate a zipline, beach and iguana farm. South shore zipline and the beach there would be great, but if the iguana farm is on the other side of the island, I can zipline at one of the other places and go to a different beach. Can anyone help?
