busted knuckles Posted February 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2008 Our cruise leaves San Juan on 3/8. This is the day for the time to change. I assume this takes place in P.R. just like it does here at home. Does anybody know this as a fact?
jdbmga Posted February 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2008 According to time and date, they don't observe DST in PR http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=226 I hope this helps. :)

Ocean Boy Posted February 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2008 If you are sailing on Saturday on RCI I assume you are sailing in Serenade. Neither Puerto Rico nor any of the islands that Serenade calls at observe daylight savings time. So the time change won't affect you until the the end of your cruise after you fly out of San Juan. Actually we are sailing on Sun. 3/9 on AOS. Going down there on the 8th. You're right though, we won't lose thar hr. till we land in ATL the following Sun. but it doesn't matter cause we've got a whole week to spare.:D
sicsinohio Posted February 17, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2008 We'll be getting off AOS the day you are boarding, unless I can convince the captain to let me stay on board for and extra week:D No DST until we land at JFK an hour later than we would have otherwise.
