Gatwick taxi recommendation

Has anyone ever used either "OTS Airport Taxi" or "Airport Cars" from Southampton Pier to London Gatwick? Both provide one-way taxi service from Southampton Pier to Gatwick for about the same price. Wondering if anyone has used either company, was the driver at the Pier on time, and did you have any difficulty locating the driver at the Pier?

We did the same thing a couple of years back on the train, and it's easy and cheap. The (direct *1) train leaves hourly from Southampton Central (a very short cab ride from the docks) it's a direct train to LGW, and costs 20 pounds/ea for something way more comfortable than sitting in a taxi for 2 hours.

 

 

*1 there's more than one train that does it, but the direct only is once/hour, you'd have to change otherwise.
