NAJNLA Posted February 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Any pro or con recommendations for a one night pre-cruise hotel in Barcelona in early September?
Blackberry_Girl Posted February 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I'm also looking for a hotel to stay a couple of nights prior to our cruise in October. I'm on a budget so I am interested in some less expensive hotel options. OP, I hope you don't mind me tagging on to your post rather than starting a new post. Love Cruis'n Posted February 19, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Last summer we stayed (one night pre-cruise) at the Hotel Majestic. http://www.hotelmajestic.es/home_eng.php It was very nice, priced moderately and a great location.

Aubiecruiser Posted February 20, 2008 #8 Share Posted February 20, 2008 We have two couples booked at the Regencia Colon for our pre and post cruise nights. Sailing Sept. 26th on the Brilliance for 12 days. Tripadvisor has some good reviews of this hotel, has anyone stayed there and have any information (hints) for us? mrspaper Posted February 21, 2008 #11 Share Posted February 21, 2008 i stayed at the apsis atrium plaza, which had a great location, pool and jacuzzi. after travelling all nite, it was nice to get to the hotel and use the pool and shower while we waited for our room. arthur frommer budget travel mag rated them the top 100 hotels for value. it was easy to get to with public transp from the airport, which was safe. you get on the bus and it doesn't pick up additional passengers after the airport. you get off the last stop and walk 3 blocks up hill to the hotel. it was a breeze. cruisintraveler Posted February 22, 2008 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2008 Try Best Western Premier Regina, just off Las Ramblas. Great location, clean, updated, good breakfast. Cruisintraveler
jstducky Posted February 22, 2008 #14 Share Posted February 22, 2008 If you are looking for a budget hotel with a great location, try the Hotel Continental Las Ramblas. It is right at the beginning of Las Ramblas (close to Placa Catalunya). The rooms are a little small, but clean. The front desk is extremely helpful and friendly. The price of the room also includes breakfast, as well as snacks 24 hours a day. Also, the hotel offers free drinks 24 hours a day, including various sodas, bottled water, and beer. Lastly, the hotel also offers free internet. Can't really beat the price, the location and the services offered gratis.
