Raiatea motu

I would rececommend going to a library or bookstore and checking out Jan Prince's Tahiti guide. There are three pages of people who offer different types of charters back and forth to various motus. One that she recommends is something called "Trips to the motu" - you rent a taxi boat to go to a motu - remember that many of the motus are private and tourists are not welcomed there. Her suggestion for motus that welcome guests are: Iriru, Oatara, or Ceran. Most of these will not have any services, such as toilets or water and food, so you'll have to pack in your own.
