Is there a hotel list for San Pedro pier?

We stayed at the Crown Plaza, right near the pier, as well as the Doubletree . There is also a Best Western (I think that is the current name) nearby.

The hotels on Gaffey Street are some distance away, and are not as nice.

If you stay at the Crown Plaza you are within walking distance of the waterfront area with several restaurants, as well as some restaurants in town.

as far as I know there are only 2 nearby...Crowne PLaza and Double tree

We had a very good experience at the Double Tree in December. In May we are trying the Crowne Plaza on the recommendation of some people who cruise a lot out of San Pedro. Looking at the room pics though, I think the DT has the nicer rooms. Both offer free shuttles to and from the cruise terminal. Both are $150+ but it seems as though you can get them on Priceline for well under $100 (drats).
