More recent Veendam reviews, please!

We'll be heading out on the mighty Veendam the first week of April, going to the Western Caribbean. Have sailed the Ryndam a few years ago and the Volendam two years ago. From what I read here, the Veendam stacks up very well to the other HAL ships.

 

Planning to see Key West on our own, went with Cabe-Tubing.com for the ATV/Cabe Tubing adventure in Belize, the Amitique BBQ and Beach Break in Santo Tomas De Castilla and the Fury Catamaran Snorkel & Beach Party in Cozumel.

 

Just read some of the recent reviews, which were great. Any thoughts, suggestions, words of wisdom and more recent reviews on

embarkation, ports, dining, entertainment and the ship overall, would be much appreciated!
