Another Formal Dining Question

I'm going on the Nov 2 Crown Princess with family. We will have 4 boys with us whose ages will be 7, 11, 11, and 15. On formal nights could they wear dress pants, dress shirt and a tie or do they need a sports jacket or suit? For casual night they will wear dockers and polo knit shirts.

Boys can wear anything smart.

A button-down shirt and slacks will do. Short sleeves is acceptable. (Which I've seen alot)

Dressing them up with a jacket \ suit is really not necessary.

Remember Formal Night is when your family will have pictures taken, all looking good and dressed up.
