budgetcruiser Posted September 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2004 Is there a place in Cozumel that I can check my email for free?
LJLB6 Posted September 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2004 don't know of any place that is free. Internet places at the ports are much cheaper than using the service on the ship--RCL charges 50 cents a minute and the computers can be slow at times. While in the ports, you can usually find a deal--either $6 or $5 for 30 minutes.
cruisin' scrapper Posted September 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2004 QUOTE=idiotsavant8]If you dock at Puerta Maya (most Carnival ships and Princess ships) or TMM International pier you can walk across the street to No Name Bar and check it for free. How's that for a good deal? It is in the Plaza Maya shopping area. Next door and right behind are three other internet cafes and long distance calling stations. Come by and meet Tulay and Grant the owners and maybe have your turkish coffee read or your tarot cards read. Cool place with nice folks and good food.[/QUOTE Just happened to read this on another thread a bit ago & thought you might could use the info. betsyrossapk Posted September 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2004 Here's a copy of that thread in it's entirety. The other locations named here are not free, but it does give you other options in case you need it: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=69005
