Booking assistance - Jewel of the Seas

I am thinking about booking the 19 May sailing from Stockholm to Harwich on the Jewel of the Seas. Like everyone else, I would like to get a good deal on this cruise. I know what the prices currently listed on Royal Caribbean's web-site are, but I have no idea what direction these prices have been going since one was first able to book this cruise. I have both the US and UK versions of Royal Caribbean's European brochures, but this 4 day cruise is not listed in either brochure, so I can't even figure out what the brochure rate is. I am seeing availability in all cabin categories. Final payment is due on 20 March.

I realize no one here has a crystal ball, but does anyone have any ideas on whether to book now or wait until after final payment? It is not a "have to" cruise, but rather an "it would be nice to" cruise.

Thanks for your thoughts.

IMHO:

If you want to go...........

If you have the $$$$$$$$...........

Book it! Choose your cabin! Watch for price drops..........

The only thing you are risking is a special for "new bookings only" and if you wait too long there may not be any.

Enjoy :)

PS: Jewel is beautiful!

We are sailing on one of these Jewel short cruises so I can tell you what has happened to our prices if that will help!

We booked in Oct '07 at £335pp in a D1, shortly after the price dropped to £295 (nice :D ). A couple of weeks ago prices went up (now £358pp) even tho' there is still lots of availability. I'm watching for/hoping for a suite guarantee to come up so am watching closely!

Hope this helps you decide.
