Drive Down I-75 - Hotel Ratings

We will be sailing on Mariner on 4/13 and so that we will have almost a full day in the area on Saturday (staying at Country Inn & Suites in Port Canaveral) we will be driving down part way on Friday evening. On our past trips to Disney we have done this and stayed in Ocala - Days Inn West. It wasn't great but we only needed a place to sleep, just an average room but it was clean. I have been researching the same area (Ocala & Silver Springs) for this trip and most all of the hotels including Days Inn in the area have bad reviews (varying pricing). We didn't want to spend a lot since we will arrive late and leave early Sat.

Does anyone have any recent experience with any hotels/motels in that general area? Nothing fancy needed, just clean and safe.
