ultrablue Posted March 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2008 going on the Coral Princess in April, thought about getting the coffee card as we like flavored coffee and good coffee, wondered if it was worth it
poshmom Posted March 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2008 I don't know, but do they have this on Carnival too?
cb at sea Posted March 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2008 Compare the cost of the coffees individually, and see if you would normally drink more than that!
cruiserking Posted March 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2008 We've done the soda cards on recent cruises and found them to be a good savings. I have to think the coffee cards are probably a good buy as well provided you drink alot of java. Cruiserking
blindrid Posted March 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2008 I may be mistaken but I think it is a card that you prepay for X number of drinks at a discount, it's not unlimited so I would suspect, as pp mentioned, you have to do the math.
texswamper Posted March 7, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2008 On Princess, the card has 15 punches for specialty coffees such as lattes etc. It makes them about 20% discounted. My husband and I share the card for the week. Worth it to me.
houch Posted March 8, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2008 We girls got a coffee card on the Star Princess to the Baltic last Sept. It was definitely a good deal for us. The temps were cooler and those lattees tasted really good after the tours. We used up every card and I would do it again.
