I'll let you know about Millie when I get back in a few weeks.
Millie still had live dealers for her last (and I do mean last) Caribbean cruise. $2/$5 no limit sit-n-go cash games every night at 10pm. Several $50 tournaments during the week. If you think 10% is bad for cash games, the tournaments paid $250 for 1st and $150 for 2nd. With 10+ players (reserves allowed to buy in if someone busts out within first 2 levels), that means the house got a miniumum of 20%!

The dealers did say that PokerPro is coming on Millie, as well as coinless slots. She's headed to Alaska now, via a 14 day Panama Canal cruise. Then she'll stay in the Pacific and continue to do Alaska, Hawaii, and Australia.

Still a live dealer and one table on the Galaxy as of 4/18/08.

Tournaments on sea days of $60 with unlimited rebuys during the first go round of the button. We never had more than 11 people in a tournament. The blind levels were 15 minutes and there were no antes at any level. We started with 1000 in chips....too few for me to have fun. :)

Cash games didn't start until very late, usually 10:00 pm or later. $1/2 no-limit. 10% rake, also no-limit. The dealers ranged from totally new to dealing poker (as in, we were telling her the rules) to fairly competent.

I was just on Millie earlier this month and they have a live Texas Hold Em table with dealer. Every night they had a $100 buy-in game that began around 10 PM. On the next-to-last day (at sea day) they had three $50 buy-in tournaments with 10 players per game, and I think they had one tournament on another at-sea day.

They also have tables of Caribbean Stud and 3-card Poker, and video poker machines. Fun, fun, fun!

  • 4 weeks later...

An update on the Century (just got back from fabulous Transatlantic yesterday).

They had a "double freeze out" NL tournament at 3.30 p.m. every sea day = $60 buy in 10 pax max, blinds started at 50/100 and double every 10 mins, one re-buy pp allowed in first half hour or top up. Casino took $10 from each buy in, pot then split 70/30. Bit of a crap shoot.

This was followed by a cash game - $2/$5 NL - min buy in $50 Max $200 - also cash game around 10.30 each night same stakes.

Quietest casino I have ever seen - and one of the tightest I'm told!
