Question about Barcelona Port

OK, so I need an opinion.....my husband and I will be arriving on the Voyager of the Seas in Barcelona on Saturday, August 23rd. Our flight to Athens is at 11:55 AM. I have heard good and bad stories about both the dock and the Barcelona airport. Just curious.......would it be smart for us to book a taxi to take us to the airport from the dock? That way we won't have any worries about waiting in line for a taxi and it being an extremely long line. I contacted Angie's taxi and they would do it for 48 Euro=$75 American. Is it worth it?

11:55 will be no problem at all. In fact, you can take your time getting off the ship (you could probably wait until around 9) and simply grab a taxi. There is no reason to reserve in advance unless you want to pay more money.

When we disembarked in July last summer the queue for taxis took about 20 minutes. A bit of a line, but you should be able to make it in plenty of time.

The taxi is about €25. We were there in November and the line was very short.......

We also paid about 25 euros,in August. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Beware Barcellona airport was manic, queues everywhere. Information was useless.
