on our anniversary we would like to do our first cruise...something which includes a minimum of 3 days in st.petersberg. looking at luxury liners such as crystal/regent/silversea. have we missed any other potential ships? how do we get the very best price given we are likely travelling at high time. ( july ) we are travelling from canada, ontario.

Azamara and Seabourn. Both A. Journey and Seabourn Pride have a July itinerary that has three days in St. Petersburg. One advantage of Seabourn is that they are small enough to dock right downtown, and not in the commercial port. When we were there on Millie in 2000, seabourn Legend was there along with one othe smaller 'R' ships. Oceania may not be quite as high in the luxury end, but they have two cruises on Regatta that spend three days in S.P. EM

Here is the Renaissence ship R2 (who just happens to now be Regatta) and Seabourn Legend in St Petersburg.

And Seabourn Legend.

I believe Seven Seas Navigator would be of a size to dock downtown, but not the other Regent ships. EM
