dalspot Posted March 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2008 We've decided to take the Historic Juneau Gold Mine Tour. As there will be 4 ships in port that day, what would be your recommendation on the best time for the tour? Originally I thought we'd take the tour in the morning, leaving the afternoon for some walking thru the town and the Mt. Roberts Tramway. Doing the tour later in the afternoon cuts it close to getting back for our main dinner seating. Now I'm thinking as our ship is due in port at 8 am that we might be better to do our walking of the town before the next ships arrive at 11am, 12 and 2 pm. Any advice? Thanks! Budget Queen Posted March 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2008 Pick one. If you just want to "walk" around Juneau, it will make little difference on your time. You will be picked up and returned to the dock.
