What was the weather like? We are traveling there on March 27th YEAH!!! Can't wait hoping that it will be warm enough for kids to swim on ship? Did you do any excursions in Cabo we are Swiming with the dolphins and wondering if that is close to tender station? Thanks

I think that money belonged to my wife?

Was Stuart your CD? We enjoyed the cruise and did the wine country tour at Ensenada. Cabo was all about Cabo Wabo and the whale watching. it was a total booze cruise:p but we got to see whales jump. it was great.

I was on the Elation this past week as well. The weather in Cabo and Ensenada was not as warm as I would have liked, mainly high 60s. I wanted to tan on the deck, but found that the temperature wasn't all that inviting for that. However, I noticed that the week or two before this week that the temperatures were in the mid-70s so maybe I just hit a cold spell.

What did you do in Ensenada? We're going in June and trying to decide if we want to do an excursion.

Thanks

My gf and I were cruising on a budget so we didn't book any excursions in Ensenada. We walked around downtown and tried to do some shopping. A good number of people went to La Bufadora and it seemed like they had a good time.

hi iceman... we are sailing 4/6... i do have a couple of questions...

did you park near the terminal? if so, where? we live about half an hour away from the port, but will be driving... there are so many lots advertised online that we don't know if one is really better than another...

what was the debark. like on the elation? do you eat breakfast before you leave? is there any flexibility about when you get off? can you leisurely shower, get some breakfast, and leave when you want? not when they call your number?

any idea about an inside cabin on the empress deck? we are under one of the dining rooms... wonder how noisy it will be, if at all?

thanks much!

My family is from SD so I got dropped off literally on the pier. There is a lot across the street that is $15/day that a lot of people like to use. From what I've heard, our debarkation was really smooth. You have to vacate your cabin by 8:30 AM and then wait on the Promenade or Lido deck. We were in no hurry, so we vacated at 8:30 AM, went up to Tiffany's for a leisurely breakfast until our number was called. From the time our number was called, we were off the boat in 10 minutes. If you have an early flight, you can let the purser know and they will give you an earlier number. If you carry off your own luggage, you can leave any time after debarkation begins. Everyone is supposed to be off the boat by 9:30-9:45 AM. Since I was in no hurry, I wanted to prolong my cruise vacation as long as possible!

I stayed on the Main deck, so I can't help you with the noise question.

I can answer your question about parking, we recently went on the spirit and we used mission brewery cruise parking and they offer free shuttle service and the lot is fenced and they have a coupon on there website for seven dollars a day

Glad you had a great time! We'll be leaving on Monday on her and I was wondering how the weather was at all the ports and on the sea days. Was it down right cold in evenings on deck:confused: Thanks in advance for the info....having a really hard time trying to pack:o

Weather should be warm. We did the dolphin swim in Cabo. See my

avatar ??

If you're doing the ship's tour, you will all meet at the pier, then walk the short distance to the dolphin center.

It was a wonderful experience, even for the price ! :)

Did you Find the Money that i lost in the Casino?...if you did could you please send it back to me:D

Now, now Dennis, you know better than to keep begging around for your money back. You know darn well where it went - to Rich's pockets:D . And he has already spent it on a couple of dirt bikes - so sorry:rolleyes: .

Me and my wife will be aboard in Sept 08. I would like to know about the Sushi on board. I believe there is a Piano Bar aboard. Was it any good? What excursions did you go on/recommend?

Was the slide working?

Thanks

Sushi, quite honestly, was not good at all, but I have high standards for it. The piano man, Damian, was amazing. Did not go on excursions so can't help you there.
