psantho Posted March 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2008 We've been considering this resort for our April cruise. Is it far from the cruise port to the Sunset Jamaica Grand? Do you remember how much a taxi cost?
jimm Posted March 16, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2008 A taxi costs $3.00/person. It was probably a 2 -3 minute taxi ride we could have easily walked it. We did walk along the beaches on the way back to the ship, it took less than 10 minutes. I have several pictures of the resort if you would like me to e-mail them to you. ron317 Posted March 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2008 jimm, Was there anywhere to store your belongings at the Sunset. We still do not have confirmation that day passes will be available early April. Any suggestions? Thanks for you help
jimm Posted March 17, 2008 #7 Share Posted March 17, 2008 I just e-mailed them about 4 or 5 days before I left for my cruise to verify that they could accommodate the number of day passes I needed. They sent me an email the next day verifying that they had space. I printed the e-mails and took them with me just in case. I don’t think there is any place to store your belongings. We just left our stuff by our chairs and I had a small waterproof beach safe to store money, S&S card, and ID’s.
