  1. We cruised to Alaska this year on the Sapphire for the first time. If you put the work in, you can see wild life from the bow of the ship. Sandra was the naturalist and she had a map of the times of the hotspots for wildlife. She stands out there with you. She told us she will be on the Sapphire next year. (If you are really interested in wildlife, go to all of her presentations.) We cruised four weeks, last week of May and the first three weeks of June. (Two 14 day round trips from Vancouver). We saw everything. But it takes work and many hours of standing around but it was well worth it. You need patience, warm clothes and binoculars.
  2. That is a great idea. Whatever I decide to do, I will come back and report afterwards, since there is no information here on this Hop On/Off bus.
  3. Thanks @Ombud. I didn't know Expedia had tours! I want to see the Japanese Gardens, Palermo Rose Garden and the El Ateneo Bookstore and want to use the bus to get close to these places. And of course the other highlights. There are mixed reviews on the red and yellow buses. I discovered the yellow one after I made the original post.
  4. I do not have experience in this hike but I did a quick google search and it looks hard. Here is a rating on alltrails. If the link doesn't work, just go to their website. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/saint-kitts-nevis/saint-paul-capisterre/mount-liamuiga Another site, rated it a 7 out of 10. In 2014, I hiked the Gros Piton from sea level in St. Lucia. I didn't do enough research. It was steep and I got very weak from the elevation. (I thought I was in fairly good shape because the week prior, I ran a half marathon. Not the same. LOL.) It was the most challenging hikes I have ever done. Thank goodness one of the guides had a Coke and the sugar helped me. Now, I stick to easier hikes because I am not an experienced hiker and would never do something like that again. I won't attempt a "hard" rating on a hike again. If it's something you really want to do, I would train for it. I hope this helps you.
  5. Hello. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Grey Line double decker bus, Buenos Aires CityBus - Hop On Hop Off. There are 22 stops. Thank you.
  6. @PORT ROYAL Thank you for the tip. We don't smoke cigars but we do enjoy mojitos!
  7. Thank you! I might just book this and will definitely try a Killer Bees! I love rum punch.
  8. @PORT ROYAL Thank you. I have been to Nevis once and it was just beautiful. Maybe I will give this a try. Have you used this company before?
  9. Has anyone been here recently? I haven't been to this area since 2018. How was Carambola and the beach? How much were chairs and umbrella for rental? I emailed them weeks ago and no response. I am trying the WhatsApp now. Thank you.
  10. Thanks. I did book the cruise. I guess I will find out. The cruise isn't until next year, 2025/2026.
  11. I have been on two Panama Canal cruises and there are hardly any kids on the ship. One was 19 nights and the other 17 nights.
  12. Do you know how many kids were on the ship? How long was the cruise?
