lizzybrog80 Posted March 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2008 I will be a first-time cruiser next month, looking at Celebrity, Royal Carribean, or Carnival. I wonder: are there issues with dinner times overlapping with show times? I would definitely like to see a show or two, but don't know which dinner time to choose to make that an option... can you tell me if this becomes a problem in reality??? tomko2 Posted March 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2008 RCI (and I suspect the other cruise lines do the same) co-ordinates the show with dining times so that passengers can attend the evening shows. Generally passengers with late seating go to the early show and vice versa. Kathy:)

You won't miss a show due to dinner...if you pick early seating you'll go to the later show and vice versa. Pretty much all shows go in 2's so no one misses out! Enjoy your cruise! ehfl Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2008 They plan the show times so that everyone who eats at an assigned dinner time will get to see the show.
cb at sea Posted March 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2008 Pick the dining time that your tummy is used to--you will miss nothing because of meals!
UtterCaro Posted March 17, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2008 If you tend to get sleepy after dinner (as I do), book late seating for dinner, so you'll attend the show beforehand. It's less rude to nod off in the library or card room than in the theatre. ;) Caro
