We cruised on the Vision early Nov 2007 and the weather was great. Comfortable and warm, so I would expect just slightly warmer temps in October. Summer weight clothes work fine.

Expect and be prepared for a cool day on the first and last days.

Also important to note. It will be pretty hot in Cabo (probably low to mid 90's). In Puerto Vallarta, you can add in a fair amount of humidity as well. October is "shoulder season" in Puerto Vallarta (meaning not necessarily the best weather conditions because of the humidity). Cabo's "shoulder season" is Sept so you should be fine there, but it will be hot.

Done this cruise several times in Oct.. warm first day, HOT and humid rest of the week. Last day coming home is warm also.... Not hot, not cold, but warm!
