Transportation from LAX to Port

What is a good company to use for transportation to Port from LAX Carnival is charging 52.00 per person per way and seems to be too much. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.:D

We just sailed out of San Pedro in Feb. and used Super Shuttle exclusive van for the 4 of us. It was cheaper than Crystal's transfer fee and was very prompt and we'd do it again. If you use a shared van it is less . Check Super Shuttle online and you can book ahead online. We did and it worked like a charm. They picked us up at the ship also and took us to LAX. joyous

I agree with Supershuttle. We booked and paid online for our upcoming 4/7 cruise and for all three of us, it was $96 R/T. :)

If there are only 2 people you can probably just take a cab from LAX to the port. It will not be more than Super Shuttle.

Darn, search this thread is down now too. I hate to disagree with the above poster but I thought a cab was considerably more than the shuttle?

 

We used Super Shuttle for our group, we were staying at 2 different hotels near LAX, and they picked us up at the pier. No problem whatsoever. Airport pickup is also very easy, they let you know where to find them after you go through baggage claim.

 

The nice thing about the private shuttle is that you don't have to drop others off on your way, although you may get a little side tour thrown in that way. But with the new boarding rules I don't think I would chance that.
