Anyone sailing Dec 5 this year?

For those that are familiar with the island of St Maarten. any suggestions for places to go, things to do in St Maarten? I will be staying at the Delfina hotel for a precruise stay and would like suggestions on what to do besides the gay beach which is just down the road from the Delfina (a gay owned and operated hotel).
