FOS Oceanview Rooms Decks 2 & 3

Does anyone have experience with Oceanview rooms on Decks 2 & 3 of FOS? Are they too far away from all activities? Will they have more motion than a Deck 6? I have 2 separate rooms booked on deck 6 (promenade / balcony) but thinking of going with connecting on Deck 2 or 3. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The lower the deck, the more you'll have to use the elevators, and they can be very sloooooow. It's not hard to take the stairs for 2 flights or so, but going up 8 flights is rough!

We like to book upper decks, as we spend most of our time at the pool, and running back and forth to the room is a breeze!

We had 2568 last year on Liberty, It's a FO, We had 2 adults and 4 kids. I liked deck 2, we were close to the front elevators and stairs. 2 flights up and through the casino for dinner was great, because it's carpeted and no clacky clack with our high heels through the promenade. I think the forward elevators were very quick, we waited much longer for the aft bank of lifts because the dining rooms, Windjammer and a lot of other stuff is in the back. Also the forward rooms on 2 are seperated from the rest, you can't go all the way to the aft. So our room was the last in the hall. It was very quiet and we liked being closer to the ocean.
