BrendaB1 Posted March 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2008 What can be expected on a halloween cruise.....Costumes? Costume parties? Does the cruise staff dress up in costumes? etc? Yes, the STAFF does dress up in some awesome costumes since they have wardrobe & makeup available for the shows. The last couple of years Carnival has teamed up with M&M candy & have been doing Halloween for all cruises in the month of Oct. Lots of great costumes & party in the disco or Lido deck. Carolinamamasita Posted March 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2008 What can be expected on a halloween cruise.....Costumes? Costume parties? Does the cruise staff dress up in costumes? etc? The staff dresses up. The ship is decorated " Halloweeny " There are props and set ups for the Formal Halloween Pictures if you like The staff that is in costume gets up & dances to get the party going ( at least when I went) It was a pretty good time I was surprised at the people onboard that were also dressed ... I didnt take a costume though ... I should have ( because I knew about it ) But I didnt Oh well , there is always this year :D

Dewaco Posted March 18, 2008 #11 Share Posted March 18, 2008 I was on the Miracle last Halloween - happened to be the first formal night too. Probably about 10% dressed for Halloween. I don't recall any crew being dressed up. My "Flapper" Costume worked for both Halloween and formal night. There were backdrops set up for Halloween pictures - however, I don't remember any special desserts (and I would remember that).
cassidyb Posted March 19, 2008 #12 Share Posted March 19, 2008 If you have time before doing a Halloween "time-frame" cruise, go to Disney World and experience "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Boo to you" parade.... We went and it was a lot of fun... CassidyB
