Question about balconies

Hello everybody,

we are princess-beginners and the search is temporarely down. Don't know how long that might take.

There is a question that moves us. What about the balconies on the Diamond - is there a door between two neighboured balconies?

We do the cruise with friends. They got the cabin next to us and we would be glad to be able to visit each other from balcony to balcony.

The cabins are on the caribe-deck.

Thx for your answers! :)

Our experience on the Diamond Princess was that there was a door on the balcony but the cabin forward to us was an "Adjoing Cabin" and I can't remember what the situation was with the cabin astern of us that didn't adjoin.

Yes, there will be a door in the divider between the balconies that can be opened. Just ask your steward to open it for you. You'll then be able to go back and forth between the balconies.

Balcony doors can be opened provided the cabins are not divided by a fire wall. On the Diamond Caribe Deck fire walls are between the following cabins:

120 & 200 127 & 201 256 & 300 259 & 301 334 & 400

335 & 401 422 & 500 425 & 501 532 & 600 535 & 601

632 & 700 635 & 701
