Harrison cave mon and tues

we will be in barbados for 1 day, a tues.

I have read some bulletins stating the caves are closed mon and tuesday's,

has anyone been lthere ately where it has reopened on mon and tuesday or should we find something else to do?

I'll see if I can call today, but somehow I doubt that they are open on Mon or Tuesday.. What is your expected date into Barbados.. If it's soon, I wouldn't count on it, if it's next winter, possibly.

i just called, they are closed mondays and tuesdays, open wed thru sundays.

I hope that won't be the case this May! Why would they be closed on Tuesday when that is the day one of the biggest ships in the world calls on the port???

(I think I've heard there is a law about being closed 2 days in a row for employees, but you'd think they'd have different people working so everyone got 2 days off!)

Drats! I called and they said it would still be closed Mondays and Tuesdays in May. I'm from the NYC metro area, we never sleep! ;) ;)

That's what I'm talkin' about! We will be there this May on the Adventure of the Seas, it seems ridiculous that you have a ship with 3800 people on it arriving on Tuesdays and the main tourist attraction on the island is closed!
