No, I am afraid the special lines are only for Diamond, Diamond+ and suites.

Some ports include Platinum, but not always all of them.

No, it is not always faster. :D It depends on the port.

I think Platinum is entitled to priority embarkation at all ports, at least we've always seen the sign. But Gold members must wait, alas, until they reach that exalted status.;)

They do not have a C & A check in line but there is a priority boarding area for Diamond/Plus and Platinum members and suite guests.

In 2002 I sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale on the Enchantment and was able to go in to the Platinum and up waiting room area. ;)

In 2003 I sailed the Brilliance out of Miami and was allowed in the Platinum and up line. ;)

When I sailed the Navigator in September of 2006, out of the same pier and same room in Miami as the Brilliance sailed from, we were not allowed to get in the "Diamond and up line." We were told by the Gentleman guarding it that Platinum had to wait in the regular line. And we all did. :D

It did not bother me as I was up front anyway and those B2B cruises made me Diamond. :D

JS's get to use the "suite" line. It's faster if there are large lines for regular check-in.

In Miami it is Platinum and above.... sorry no gold.....
