cinnam0n Posted March 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2008 Isn't it a "flying" fish sandwich? Try this thread -http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=695358
Aplmac Posted March 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2008 It's worse than that... it's a Flying Fish CUTTER - a "cutter" in Bajan vernacular being any "sandwich" made with a bun rather than with sliced bread....what the British would call a butty ! On the other hand "a bread-en-two" is a salt-bread(bun) with two peppery fish-cakes jammed into it Oh never mind...it's all local lingo! :D

cruisefeen2304 Posted March 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2008 Yes it's called a Flying Fish Cutter.... or in Bim just a Fish Cutter... most of the local rum shops make them..
Aplmac Posted March 24, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 24, 2008 Whatever its called, I want to sink my teeth into a few of them. What's the ave price on one of these tasty treats?? Can't remember when last I actually paid for one of them.. but it can't be more than about $5 - and that's Bds.$5 which is equiv. to U.S.$ 2.50 so don't get ripped-off now! :D You'll probably get a dolled-up version with salad on the side, and chips  and other rubbish at a fancy restaurant, paying for all the extras but if you can find a roadside shop/vendor, it shouldn't be more than about 5 Bajan Bucks.
