Medical Emergency On Inspiration?

I just checked CruiseCal, and it is showing an altered course for the Inspiration due to a medical emergency. Does anyone have info on this?

Wow, our cruise (Triumph) was altered last week as well due to a medical emergency.

The locater shows them almost back to Key West!! Looks like they will be on a cruise to nowhere since their only port was Cozumel and they won't make that! Bummer!!!http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/cruiseships.phtml Actually it looks like they are headed back to Tampa!!

Never mind. I just checked again and it just updated and they are almost to Cozumel.

Actually it worked out better. We were scheduled like this:

 

Sat - Leave Miami

Sun - At Sea

Mon - San Juan (5pm-12am)

Tues - St. Thomas

Wed - At Sea

Thurs - Grand Turk

Fri - At Sea

Sat - Back at Miami

 

our schedule was changed because we actually had to dock at Grand Turk to offload the passenger who was flown back to miami. We apparently docked at Grand Turk around 2am on Monday morning but neither my wife or I had any idea.

 

So our new schedule was:

 

Sat - Leave Miami

Sun - At Sea

Mon - At Sea

Tues - St. Thomas

Wed - San Juan (8am-3:30pm)

Thurs - Grand Turk (late getting there so we were extended an extra 1/2 hr)

Fri - At Sea

Sat - Back at Miami

Daughter was on the Triumph last week with the port change and was thankful for it. She got to finally see San Juan in daylight.
