RCI next cruise & Celebrity?

I'll start by apologizing if this has already been asked and answered, but here I go.....

 

If I do next cruise on my next RCI cruise, can I use it for a Celebrity cruise?

No, the Next Cruise can only be used to go on Royal Caribbean.

I believe you can book a Celebrity "next cruise" on RCL as long as you specify that you want it on Celebrity. The booking can't be switched between the lines.

I asked the LA on either the Liberty or the Mariner when I booked our next cruise if it could be used on Celebrity and she said you had to specifically book a Celebrity next cruise.
