Hi All

Been thinking about going on the Zuiderdam in May 2005 for the first time.

Our balcony IS VERY IMPORTANT to us and we were wondering if there were any balconies, other than suites, that were Larger than the rest and also if they were completely covered......

Also if the rooms in the Aft have covered balconies....

Thank you all so very much for any help you can give us.

Take a look at the deck plan on the web site. You will see there are many veranda cabins with identical cabins above and below them, on the "flat" sides of the ship, meaning the deck above is not recessed at all in that area. For example, we are booked into B5162 on the Veranda (fifth) deck. The Upper Veranda (sixth deck) cabins with verandas are directly above us, so the veranda is covered.

Hi All

Been thinking about going on the Zuiderdam in May 2005 for the first time.

Our balcony IS VERY IMPORTANT to us and we were wondering if there were any balconies, other than suites, that were Larger than the rest (Our 4135 verandah was bigger than our 5102 cabin, dont know why tho) and also if they were completely covered...... (Aft cabins are half and half)

Also if the rooms in the Aft have covered balconies....half and half, you can see into the aft verandahs from the lido deck.

Thank you all so very much for any help you can give us.

Hope this helps some :)
