how do I confirm OBC?

I am getting an OBC from my travel agent, plus I am assuming another OBC for the fuel surcharge refund. Is there anyway to check this ahead of time and make sure it's there? How does one know that their TA will definitely credit your OB account with what they promised?

Our own board credit shows up on the invoice that our TA gave us. It is in small bold print in the price column. When you get on board the ship your credit will not appear on your shipboard account until day 2 or 3. Now with the fuel surcharge refunds, I'm not sure how long it will take to see the credit on your account.

My TA always sends me an amenity invoice showing the credit she bought. Or if she prepays some of our tips she will have them on the invoice and then I will see that some are paid.

We get a verbal confirmation and then wait and see. Maybe I'm too trusting, but the one time there was an error, we contacted the TA and he put the difference on my credit card within a week.
