CARMNRICO Posted April 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2008 We're doing our first family Bahamas cruise on Sovereign in August. We chose this ship because we wanted to be sure to catch Stuart Cove's snorkeling which I've heard nothing but great things about. My question is, what do we do after the afternoon excursion? What sightseeing (Queens Staircase, Straw Market, etc) are still open? Any advise would be sooo apprciated.:D

The exhibits and entrys to the forts/towers etc will be closed at 5pm. You can still wander around town or head to arawak Cay for a snak at the Fish fry. If you just want to check out the shoppes at the Marina Village at Atlantis, grab a cab or ferry (ferries run til 6) and visit Atlantis.
BeachTeach Posted April 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2008 We did the Stuarts Cover snorkeling and it was amazing! We had the bus drop us off at Atlantis and looked around there for awhile. Have fun!
