critterchick Posted September 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2004 I think the rule of thumb for tipping a cabbie in the US generally is 10-15% of the meter. If you have a lot of bags and he/she helps you with them, tip more. Wine on the plane or on the ship? I wouldn't bother lugging wine on a plane with me. You'd have to carry it on, and still have to worry about breakage, plus it's heavy. And I'm sure somebody here knows of a liquor store between the FLL airport and the cruise ship terminal.:D Princess allows you to bring wine & champagne on board (it's posted on their website). They may charge a corkage fee if you bring it to a dining room.
cruiserforlife Posted September 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2004 critterchick, Either check your wine in as lugguage (in a wineshipper available from any fine wine shop) or call Just Because of You in FL. @ 800 882-9707 and let them handle everything
