November Cruising Istanbul to Rome (Nautica)

We really like the itinerary (Istanbul, Rome, Athens as well as Florence) for this cruise (11/6-11/18), but are wary regarding weather at sea, and also ports. Any input will be appreciated. I've checked weather from previous year but need input from you. Thanks.

I did Istanbul- barcelona Nov 10-24, 2007. It was rather chilly in Istanbul,< 50 F, and rained half the time. After we left, they had a storm.

I recall most ports we went to had daily high of less than 65 F. Even Cairo only hit 74 F or so.

Dress warm. Benefit is no crowd .

Just think about the lack of tourists and the empty art galleries. You get to see these places like a local, that would be worth having to wear a jacket and carry an umbrella.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. We're going to go ahead and book the cruise. It will certainly be a luxury to visit sites without the crowds.
