Tipping on Helicopter Tours

Hi, DW and I are doing our first Helicopter tour on our visit to Kauai in 2 weeks. My question is what is an appropriate tip for the Pilot? Thanks in advance. My thought is a nice tip if we land safely and no tip if we don't. Seriously though, any help would be appreciated.

I have never tipped a pilot and don't intend to do so. They are professionals and are very well paid.

I agree. Not all excursion personnel require tips!

Was not sure. I guess it would be like tipping the pilot of your airline carrier. Just didn't know. Thanks again.

If it was a nice trip, of course I would tip.

Blue Hawaiian has a large lucite box where you can deposit "pilot appreciation envelopes", at least on the Big Island...if you see one of these, then I would guess they are expecting a gratuity.
