December temps in Coz?

:confused: We're thinking of a Christmas cruise this year, so are wondering about the weather.... swimming? sunbathing? Anyone been late Dec? :confused:

The weather can be quite variable in December. Water temps will be 78 +/- a degree. If there is a wind from the North (called a Norté) there will be some wave action on the West side of the island were most of the beach clubs and resorts are located. The East side would be calm and pleasant during a Norté. Always a good chance of a brief shower. Air temps in the low 80's are likely as well.

last dec, 2nd week of, the air temps were mid-70 warming to high 70s...overcast in the mornings. the week before they were reporting rain on some cruises.
