Advice and Costs from Airport to Princess Terminal

Folks,

 

We are considering a June cruise on Princess out of NYC and have never been there. From our home airport, it looks like EWR is the cheapest airport, will that work OK or should I consider LGA or JFK? Also, any advice on how best to get to the terminal from the airport - taxi or shuttle? My plan would be to fly into the airport by 10am on the day of the cruise and go straight to the terminal, and on the last day of the cruise go straight back to the airport. What also would be the earliest time to book the return flight on disembark day?

The closest and least expensive airport is LGA where a cab to the Red Hook Terminal is about $30. From JFK its anywhere from 40-60 depending on how the cab goes and from EWR it will cost about $75-$90. Car services will coast about the same. The car service limo that the cruise terminal uses costs about twice as much. I use arecibo 7187836465.

 

The prices are per car not per person.
