Manhatton Port Parking Fees-Norwegian Cruise Line

Is the port parking fee really $30 a day at the Norwegian Manhatton Port? I've read about other ports that are only $10 or $20. We're cruising on the Spirit in June.

The ship terminal is independently run - it is not Norwegian's or any other cruise line. The terminal operator is Ports America. $30 a day is correct - it recently went up. While I would never call $30/day cheap, unfortunately it's not really high considering what parking in NYC typically costs.

The Manhattan cruise terminal is owned by NY City...The parking is a concession. NCL has nothing to do with the parking fee...

you can find slightly less expensive places near the pier to park at http://www.iconparking.com but the difference in price may not be worth the actual hassle and the pier parking is extremely safe.

 

You drop off your people and luggage first and then park...unless you travel very light.
