afcj1 Posted April 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2008 I was just reading the Capers from someones Feb. Pride cruise and it states that the Muster is the next day:confused: I believe that ships have 24 hrs, after sailing, to complete Muster, but I've only had it on the same day that we sailed. For anyone who's recently been on the Pride, was your Muster the next day? I'm just wondering if the Pride in particular ALWAYS has Muster the next day. They like to get it out of the way ASAP.
Muumuu Posted April 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2008 My only complaint is sailing just as muster is over. I want time to get to my sailaway site. Do you hear that Carnival?

I bookmarked the site that NolaAlive, had so wonderfully put together: http://www.zydecocruiser.com/pride_08/pride_map.htm and happened to be reading the Capers tonight. It's on page 31 of 37, "Today-At-A-Glance". I hope that it's not correct. NolaAlive - if you're there, maybe you can chime in. Thanks everyone. chandom Posted April 20, 2008 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Looks like to me is they didn't want to interrupt the folks watching the Super Bowl.

Duncarob Posted April 20, 2008 #9 Share Posted April 20, 2008 I was recently on the Ecstasy, and our muster was at 10:00 a.m. the following morning, but I believe that was just because the ship was four hours late getting into port and two hours late leaving. So, the crew was very overextended that day.
IWantToCruiseTheWorld Posted April 20, 2008 #10 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Yes, it was Superbowl Sunday. It HAD to be something unusual like that. Safety drills are required by maritime law, and the next morning is not a great time to expect everyone to learn what to do in an emergency. Ladyvdr Posted April 20, 2008 #12 Share Posted April 20, 2008 We were on the Pride April 6th -13th. The muster drill was at 3:30pm. Sailaway was at 4pm, so we did not miss the sailaway.
