cruisin'bulldog Posted April 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I have always wondered why the Explorer of the Seas has a different design in the main dining room to the rest of the Voyager - Class ships. I think both designs are pretty, but I just was wondering if anyone knew the reason for making the Explorer have such a unique design.
Dave85 Posted April 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I was also wondering why Explorer is the only Voyager Class ship without a large chandelier in the main dining room! Very random...

woof22 Posted April 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Here's a blurb from Voyager-Class.com: Decoration : on the Voyager was introduced an innovative, dramatic decor inspired by the opera houses of the past, that was abandoned on the Explorer (and replaced by a more traditional Art Deco style). But Voyager's breathtaking decoration had been so much well-liked and regreted that the company decided to use it again on the next Voyager-class ships. Thus, Voyager's, Adventure's, Navigator's and Mariner's dining rooms are almost identical! http://www.romain-moisescot.com/voyagerclass/albums/albums/publicspaces/bars/diningroom/diningroom/html/diningroomFR.html
Grammy111 Posted April 26, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2008 I think our Explorer has a beautiful diningroom. I've been on different levels and find them all very nice.
