Train to Florance and Pisa

We would like to take the train from Livorno to Pisa, climb the tower and then head to florance. Ship gets into port at 7:00. Would like to purchase the tower tickets ahead of time. What time would you recommend to get for the leaning tower reservation? Also, is getting to the train from the ship easy?
