grandmato4 Posted April 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Myself, DH, DD and SIL are cruising in Oct on the Fascination. DD has only cruised once, back in 95 and this will be SIL's first so they are really excited. Their first vacation without children. We started a "monthly cruise celebration countdown" in April by my making Chocolate Melting Cake, which they loved. I know I want to do one month a Miami Vice tasting but need some ideas to fill all our 5 remaining monthly parties before we sail. It could be food or drinks or something entirely different. Any suggestions ?
cruzinfamilyof4 Posted April 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2008 I don't know which ports you are going to. But how about something relating to the ports that you are going to be visiting. For example, if you are going to Jamaica make jerk chicken.

Muumuu Posted April 29, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2008 What about a formal night at home. Can check out the clothes you want to wear.
grandmato4 Posted April 29, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted April 29, 2008 I'm really liking your ideas! Thanks! Hadn't thought of a practice Formal night or a towel folding contest. We're stopping at Half Moon Cay and Nassau neither of which have we visited before. In honor of Half Moon Cay I was thinking about trying a new foo foo drink and having everybody sit around the grandkids sand box with our feet in the sand while we drink them :D Keep the suggestions coming !
